# About Nutgrafe

Our AI reads every article from the world's top news sites, blogs, and publications — then delivers just the facts in bite-sized summaries, 400 characters or less.

## What you get for every article

### The Summary

The whole story in 2 to 3 sentences. Facts only. No spin, no editorializing.

### Three Key Points

The most important details pulled out. Names, numbers, dates, and context you need.

### Why It Matters

So what? We tell you why this story is worth your attention and what happens next.

## OpenAI unveils GPT-5 with 'major leap' in reasoning abilities

By Jane Chen

Yes, it looks like a tweet — that's intentional. But this is an AI-generated summary of a full article, not a hot take. The goal is familiar, scannable formatting that gets you the facts fast, then links you to the original source for the full story.

## Why the name?

### nut·graf

/ˈnət ˌɡraf/ · noun · journalism

In journalism, the nutgraf is the paragraph that tells you what the story is really about. It's the "nut" of the article. The part that answers “why should I care?”

That's all we give you. Every article, reduced to its nutgraf.

## How it works

1. **Choose your sources**
Follow the publications you actually trust. Major outlets, local papers, or niche beats.

2. **We read everything**
Our AI processes every article and extracts the facts. No opinions. No outrage bait.

3. **You stay informed**
Scroll your feed, save what matters, skip what doesn't. Be done in minutes.

## How we compare

Fact-based differences, not marketing speak.
